Non sbagliano Brighton e Arsenal, che raggiungono il Chelsea in terza posizione nella classifica di Premier League. I <i>Gunners</i> vincono il big-match con il Nottingham Forest nettamente (Saka, Partey e Nwaneri), mentre i <i>Seagulls</i> battono 2-1 in trasferta il Bournemouth. Successo fondamentale anche  per il Wolverhampton sul campo del Fulham, mentre continua l'astinenza dell'Aston Villa, bloccato sul 2-2 a Birmingham dal Crystal Palace ultimo della classe. Pari anche tra Everton e Brentford.
